Operating rules

The operator of sports and physical education activities, Sport Academy Czech Republic, s.r.o., rents sports facilities (swimming pools, gyms, climbing walls and other sports venues) for its lessons and courses.

All persons located in the teaching areas and adjacent places must comply with the operating rules of the given sports facility and Sport Academy. Sport Academy clients are obliged to familiarise themselves with them before entry and to comply with them.

Clients are obliged to confirm in writing to the operator that they are medically fit to participate in group swimming training. The application form with the declaration of medical fitness must be properly completed and submitted before the start of the first lesson. Individuals with health disadvantages are obliged to inform the swimming school operator about their health status. The method of increased care is handled individually.

The operator and its staff (coaches) are responsible for the safety of clients only during the time set for teaching within the sports facility area (e.g. in the pool), but not in the shower and locker room areas.

Parents or legal guardians may accompany their children to the locker rooms and showers. Parents accompany children to the locker rooms and coaches take over the children at the pool where the warm-up takes place. After the training ends, parents pick up the children at the pool. For hygienic reasons, as determined by the pool operator, parents may only stay in the pool area in sports clothing and clean indoor shoes, following prior agreement with the coach.

Children may enter the locker rooms 15 minutes before the start of teaching. Entry to the locker rooms is permitted for parents or accompanying persons.

The operator is not responsible for the loss of valuables.

For safety reasons, it is forbidden to wear earrings, rings and chains during sports instruction. Eating or chewing gum is not permitted during the lesson.

Respect the instructions of the coaches during the lesson. At the beginning of the lesson, clients gather by the instructor.

By starting the lesson, the operator assumes responsibility for the clients. A child's parent is not authorised to interfere with the teaching unless there is a serious problem. If a child must leave the lesson early for any reason, the parent is obliged to inform the coach in time.

Teaching ends with a final evaluation of the lesson and a farewell. The parent or child's companion is obliged to pick them up in the sports facility area at the time set as the end of the teaching hour.

Upon leaving, clients check their locker to ensure they haven't forgotten anything and leave it open. Shoes are put on outside the locker room area in the designated place.

Parents or companions are responsible for any damage to the swimming facility property caused by a child.

The maximum number of clients in a group under the guidance of one coach is 8.

Coaches are obliged to follow safety principles during teaching and adhere to the agreed working hours.

If any injury occurs during the lesson, the coach is obliged to provide necessary first aid or call for professional medical assistance.

By paying the course fee or a part of it, the course participants and the client agree to the operating rules and the operator's terms and conditions. The course fee must be paid no later than the second teaching lesson after the start of the course.

Cancel an agreed lesson by email at storno24@sportacademy.cz at least 24 hours before its start. Otherwise, the lesson will be charged in full. A maximum of 2 properly excused lessons can be transferred to the next trimester of the course.

Swimming

Before entering the swimming pool, it is necessary to shower, wash with soap and change into swimwear.

Children's entry to the pool is permitted 5 minutes before the start of the lesson.

Increased caution is required in the swimming pool area – risk of injury. Walk slowly.

The maximum number of client-swimmers in a group is 7, non-swimmers 4.

For a swimming lesson, the client needs swimwear, swimming goggles, possibly a swimming cap, clean footwear suitable for the water and a towel.

If the children's companion wishes to stay in the pool area during the lesson, they must remain in the designated place in clean sports clothing.

Boys from 8 years of age change in the men's locker room, girls from 8 years of age change in the women's locker room.
